How far in advance should I place an order?
I require at least Fourteen (14) business days advance notice on all orders. Of course, the more notice the better to guarantee your date.
How do I place an order for a cake?
All orders must be placed by speaking with Erica by phone, text message or better yet in person. Because all cakes are custom designed, I strongly suggest meeting in person. Please bring with you photos, colors and/or as many details as possible for us to work with in designing your cake.
How much do your cakes cost?
All cakes are individually priced based on design. I do not quote prices of cakes on this website. Cakes range in price depending upon various factors such as number of guests cake will serve/ intensity of design /detail of sugar work etc.
Do you have pre-made cakes?
I do not have cakes pre-made and ready for sale. Every cake I make is custom made to order.
What is your payment policy?
I require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon ordering to reserve your date and time. The remainder of the payment is due upon pickup. In the event your cake is delivered, it must be paid in full before delivery. I do not accept payment upon delivery. Payments may be made by check, cash or direct deposit. Credit cards are currently not accepted at this time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because all of my cakes are custom made, you may cancel your order with a least 7 business days notice of your event and you will not be required to pay the balance of the order. If your order is cancelled with less than 7 business days notice, you are still responsible to pay the balance due.
How long are quotes and dates honored?
Dates and cake price quotes are held from the date of the quote or consultation until 14 business days thereafter. If I do not receive a 50% deposit within 14 days, your date and quote may be come unavailable.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is available and may be an additional charge. This is determined on a case by case basis. I do not ship cakes. Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled. While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage that may occur once a cake has been picked up.
Can I make changes to my order once it has been placed?
Minor changes may be made up to 5 days in advance. Major changes in any order require at least 10 days advance notice.
Do you make special need cakes? (Nut, dairy, egg, gluten-free)
I do not make special need cakes at this time. I am not a nut free facility, I assume no liability for any issue relating from the above special needs.
